Everyone understands times are hard, BUT some things should not be on the chopping block. Federal funding for Neurofibromatosis (NF) is under attack. The Dept. Of Defense (DOD) sponsored medical research program is extrememly important to not only NF children and adults but also 175 million Americans suffering from cancer, heart disease, learning disabilities and war-related injuries.

The medical breakthroughs from the CDMRP --NF Research Program est. in 1996 have set in motion trillions of possiblities to future treatments and cures. The high impact high yield research is critical to support on-going research and augment initiatives by other agencies such as National Institute of Health (NIH).
